The Nature Gradation
A private house for a young couple, located on the northern hill of Minoh City, within Osaka, Japan. Despite the fact that the area is fast developing and known for its rich natural environment, the houses have little to do with the local character. The project aims to highlight the relationship between humans and the nature, while acknowledging the natural qualities of the surroundings.
The Nature Gradation Private House by Yasuyuki Kitamura has been featured as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Nature Gradation Private House was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which rewards exceptional design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
