Uni-park Daxing
Uni-park Daxing is a five-story community shopping center in the south of Beijing. A co-living space occupies the third to fifth floors in the northwest corner and serves as a public place to rest and meet others. The three-story-tall space opens to the street through a large glass wall. Stepping terraces on the west facade create several outdoor activity areas. A rooftop garden is reached from the terraces and from the co-living space. A steel structure carries the upper floors, which overhang the main entrance by five meters.
Uni-park Daxing Community Shopping Center by Aico Ltd has been selected as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Uni-park Daxing Community Shopping Center received the Iron A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2021. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which celebrates superior design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
