Dingxin Tea Garden
Dingxin Tea Garden is a landscape design for a tea complex in Ersheng Town, Chongqing, China. The project covers about 24,200 square meters and was completed in March 2018. The buildings follow the contour lines of the mountain, so the original terrain and the tea fields are kept. Water forms the visual center of the layout, and courtyards, verandas and waterside pavilions are linked by blue flagstone paths. The garden supports tea planting, picking, making and tasting. Mountain, water and tea are joined in one calm setting.
Dingxin Tea Garden Commercial by Yawen Duan was identified as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Dingxin Tea Garden Commercial won the Iron A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2021. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which recognizes excellent design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
