Archizeit
Archizeit is an architecture office created through the renovation and extension of a single level house in the center of Chisinau, Moldova. The interior was reconfigured by removing some walls and adding new partitions, and a metal container was attached as an extension. The facade is covered with corten steel plates and a timber cladding screen. Wall finishes include exposed concrete, metal bar panels, river stones and brick. Large windows bring daylight inside and make the work spaces visible from the street. The building area is 107 square meters.
Archizeit Studio by Alexandru Zingaliuc has been highlighted as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards.
