Design of Complementary Building

Design of Complementary Building is a facade renovation of a sales centre at the main entrance of the Qin Lake Scenic Area in Taizhou, China. The original outer skin was removed, and the west facade was rebuilt as a wind curtain wall clad in reflective stainless steel, which brightens the narrow passage between the two building volumes. A large canopy marks the entrance and completes the curtain wall. The east facade uses a perforated aluminium curtain wall to enrich light and shadow. The renovation adapts the building for new use as an exhibition hall.

Caishi

Caishi China Railway City is a residential complex built in Jinan, China. The design follows a new Chinese style that joins classical order and proportion with modern function. Polycarbonate panels are used for the roof decoration boards, which allows slender supporting members. A four constant air system controls indoor air quality, temperature and humidity. The layout follows the existing terrain to limit earthworks.

RovLocker

RovLocker is a smart parcel locker designed for public spaces. The system uses two module types: a main module and parcel modules. Each parcel module is formed by joining an inner cabinet and an outer cabinet with special electromechanical locks, so no fasteners are visible on the outer surface. The result is a seamless, minimal and anti-vandal appearance. For installation, maintenance and repair, the inner cabinet can be pulled forward once the locks are opened. Rear access is not needed, so the locker can be placed in many public areas.
