White Rose
White Rose English School is a school for children to learn English conversation. By making the roads on the school grounds one-way, cars can enter and exit smoothly, and congestion on the front road will be alleviated. The façade is designed in a semi-circle rather than a full circle, showing the possibilities of English learning that can connect children to their future and the world. The shape of the protruding slabs on the façade expresses the energy and liveliness of children. Through the characteristic large semi-circular window, you can see the children happily running around.
White Rose English School by Naoko Horibe has been recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. White Rose English School was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2023. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which rewards outstanding design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
