The Lake Art

The Lake Art is an art gallery set on a lawn beside Xinglong Lake in Chengdu, China. The gallery replaces a small coffee shop and covers 600 square meters. The spatial forms refer to the mountains, trees and clouds of the city. A waterproof ceiling, designed as a geometric image of clouds, responds to the humid local climate. The interior is planned for art exhibitions and international cultural exchange.
